May is Mental Health Awareness Month! Throughout the next four weeks, we will be highlighting related topics, sharing resources, and furthering the conversation on this important issue. We will also be hosting a self-care challenge, encouraging you to take time for yourself! Each day, we will post a new challenge for you! These will include a variety of tasks, all directed at improving your self-care!

Each challenge has been designed to help you rest, relax, and recharge! We want you to make yourself a priority and include these ideas in your daily routine. By consistently practicing self-care, you will find that you are happier and more energized. You will also increase your capacity to care for the ones you love!

While the term “self-care” may feel like a luxury, the truth is that it’s essential to maintaining your health. You cannot continue to neglect your needs and expect to yield positive results. Your body needs you to take the time and focus on yourself, even if it’s just a few minutes on some days! When you take care of yourself, your body will reward you, both mentally and physically!
