Volunteer with RISE

Interested in giving back to your community and helping children, families, and individuals?  There are several volunteer opportunities that are available for groups and individuals here at RISE:

  • Facility and grounds assistance
  • Organize our donation closet on a bi-monthly basis

  • 25th Annual Brat Stand Fundraiser-Fall 2019:

The Brat stand has been active for over 25 years at every UW Badger football home game. All of the proceeds go to providing wraparound services to support mental health wellness, early childhood home visiting and literacy education, and the prevention of child abuse offered at RISE Wisconsin.

The success of this stand is the result of dedicated volunteers! Volunteer activities include gate keeping and checking ID’s at the Brat Stand entrance, set up, tear down, grilling, serving beverages and food, taking orders, and handling cash. Please note, because alcohol is being sold, children under age 18 are not allowed to volunteer during serving hours, but could assist with set up and tear down of the Brat Stand.
