Suzanne provides service facilitation and enjoys working with adolescents, adults, and families. Suzanne aims to work alongside participants and their families collaboratively in a way that brings ease and hopefulness to the recovery process.
Suzanne has a professional background working with adults in substance use recovery, as well as many years working with youth outside of the mental health field. Suzanne’s professional interests include anxiety, depression, grief, substance use, harm reduction, building distress tolerance, exploring new strategies for emotional regulation, and intergenerational patterns. Suzanne is passionate about supporting participants in reaching their recovery goals through choice and participant-led service delivery.
Suzanne is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work degree at UW-Madison. In her free time Suzanne enjoys reading, cooking, being in nature, and spending time with friends and family. Suzanne is a Muslim convert and identifies as a white, cis woman.
