Shalynn enjoys supporting adolescents, adults, and families with a range of support needs, including anxiety, depression, caregiving problems, postpartum, life transitions and trauma. She believes in being strengths based and the power of empathy. Shalynn uses a person-centered approach that pulls from a variety of models such Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, DBT and Motivational Interviewing . She is passionate about providing a safe place for everyone to feel heard and walk alongside folks in their recovery.
She enjoys fall activities, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family. Shalynn has a young child and identifies as a white, cis woman.
