I’m from Beloit, WI and stayed in Madison after school. I graduated from UW with a B.S. in psychology and a certificate in studio arts. I joined RISE as a Children Come First (CCF) care coordinator in 2022. I have some experience with ABA. I love talking about art, videogames, and cats. My hope is to not only have the participants meet their goals but also to build sustainable, long-term supports. My favorite part about RISE is that we prioritize the families’ voice and choice. Keeping our services strengths-based and participant-centered is important to me!
A few areas of Brittany’s professional interest include alternative therapies, restorative justice, language development, trauma informed care, breaking cycles of generational trauma, and hospital diversion/keeping youth in their communities. Brittany enjoys reading, painting, crocheting, guitar and Nintendo switch.
